Judge L Radovic of Belgrade dist ct on Sept 15 imposes ban on latest issue of Serbian Philosophic Society's qrly journal Filosofija, which is accused of containing 'false and alarming statements'; official objection to issue involves editorial and article which challenge conviction and imprisonment of Yugoslavs accused of 'hostile propaganda' and attempts to 'disrupt brotherhood and unity of Yugoslav nationalities'; Filosofija publication raised questions about sentencing 2 mos ago of Belgrade Law Schools's Prof M Djuric to 2 yrs in prison on variety of charges; focus of indictment against Prof Djuric was that he was 'greater Serbian nationalist' disturbed by apparent erosion of Serbian rights in Yugoslav federation; in Croatia, where anti-Serbian nationalism persists, issue of Praxix, journal of Croatian Philosophic Society has also been banned for articles critical of sentencing of Prof Djuric; judgment against Fisosofija declares that issue contained 'assertions that might alarm citizens and endanger law and order'; prosecutor also objected to Filosofija article by D Cosic, wartime commissar, and reprinting from Swiss newspaper of article that dealt with banning of Praxis in July over criticism of sentencing of Prof Djuric; Cosic deplored not only imprisonment of Djuric but also sentencing of 2 Hungarian-Yugoslavs in province of Vojvodina for 'hostile propaganda' including criticism of Yugoslav leadership and foreign policy; few wks earlier, same judge declined to ban book 'Whither and How Far' by L Momcilovic, accused of seeking to foment Serbian hostility against Croats by dealing with atrocities by Ustashi, Croatian Fascists, during World War II; judge's ruling was overturned by higher et; Pres Tito spoke harshly on Sept 10 of some philosophers, warning that they should either 'go on pension or find new line of employment'
