Clorox agreed to buy the Colgate-Palmolive bleach business in six countries — Canada, Uruguay, Venezuela, Columbia, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador — for $126 million to expand in Latin America and Canada. The transaction in Canada will be completed this year, while those in Latin America will close in the first quarter of 2007.
